Eddie Howe has agreed with Ange Postecoglou’s comments about the length of time VAR took to make decisions.

Postecoglou’s side were called on for two consecutive visual checks, costing 12 minutes of stoppage time,
with each decision taking six minutes, with Postecoglou saying it was เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง “killing the charm of football
“. During Howe’s pre-match press conference, the Toon Army boss was asked for his views on the VAR reviews and Postecoglou’s take on the matter.
While it has not been a problem for them as of late, Newcastle have had their struggles with VAR this season. Newcastle were denied a penalty against Tottenham after Anthony Gordon was left battered and bruised following a coming together with Dejan Kulusevski. The decision not to give a penalty was labelled as ‘poor’ by former Premier League defender Stephen Warnock.
“I always look at it from a fan’s perspective,” Howe said.
“I don’t think you want VAR to take that long. And I think we need a quicker process. Six minutes is too long. “
I didn’t see it at the time but, yeah, it was too long for me.
“I have more sympathy for the fans than anybody else.”
